The Umiam Reservoir is located in Meghalaya, India, fifteen km north of Shillong, where it was constructed by damming the Umiam River. An area of 220 square km is encompassed by the lake and dam.

It is the sacred forest that is one of the most noteworthy features of the Khasi Hills. It has been preserved by religious sanction for centuries.

It is situated on the Khasi Hills in Meghalaya in the Mawsynram village. It includes a Shiva Linga that is formed naturally from stones and is 209 meters high.

Visit the Don Bosco Indigenous Cultural Museum at DBCIC, the only of its kind. Experience beautiful landscapes, lush greenery, and a serene environment by traversing Lady Hydari Park, Shillong Peak, and Elephant Falls.

This picturesque village is situated along the India-Bangladesh border. People even know it as "God's own garden". Here lies the Longest Living Root Bridge, The Balancing Rock, Sky Walk, the Bangladesh Viewpoint, and on the way, can enjoy trekking too.

Visit surreal limestone constructions like Mawsmai cave and Arwah Cave for a holistic holiday experience. Get dazzled by the beauty of scenic views of Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, and Mawkdok Dympep Valley.

Early morning is the best time to visit the Kamakhya temple. You can choose any one entry queue from the available options:
Regular entry: This queue starts in the morning, and even if the gate closes at 1 pm the queue still stands.
VIP entry: This requires a paid ticket and the entry is faster than regular entry.
‘Mukhadarshan’ entry: This queue is open all the time and is the fastest of the three queues, but the darshan should be quick.
