Rocky formation of Tsagaan Suvarga or the White Stupa

Drive to the rocky formation of Tsagaan Suvarga or the White Stupa, through the most picturesque landscape you have ever seen. Located in the southern border of the Dundgovi Province, the rolling green hills and valleys will take your breath away. Wild horses galloping with the wind are a sight to behold, forever etched in your memory, huge flocks of sheep, goat, cattle….The stunning landscape is spellbinding!

The White Stupa or Tsagaan Suvarga

The White Stupa or Tsagaan Suvarga is a visual delight!! It is a long, steep slope that separates the land at different heights. The spectacular cliffs in hues of yellow, mauve, pink are breathtakingly beautiful. Stroll and soak in the splendor of nature. Or just sit and be mesmerized by its silent beauty.

Live in a tent with a nomadic family

Experience living in a Ger with a nomadic family. Ger is a portable, round tent covered with skin or felt and is used as a dwelling by them. Enjoy the local hospitality and the amazing landscape right at your door!

Drive to Yolin Aam valley

Drive to Yolin Aam valley, a deep and narrow gorge in the Gurvan Saikhan Mountains of Southern Mongolia. “Yol” in Mongolian is a Lammergeier or a bearded vulture. Hence the name often translates to the Valley of the Vultures or Valley of the Eagles. Visit the Natural Museum, step back in time and see Dinosaur eggs, wild flora and fauna.

Hike to the National Park

Visit the National Park, a short hike along the gorge to see the blue ice from winters, if it hasn’t melted!! Enroute be mesmerized by lush green mountains, exquisite wildflowers, birds, marmots and if you are lucky Ibexes!!

Road trip to Gobi Desert

Drive towards the famous Gobi Desert, this is the ultimate part of the road trip as the paved roads vanish !!! And there is no GPS!! The driver is an expert through these unpaved lands, the landscape gradually turns semi-desert, the stunning gold sand and patches of green are typical of the Asian desert! And now you will also see the double-humped Bactrian camels found only in this region and our Ladakh!!!

Khongoriin Els sand singing dunes

Enjoy the glorious landscape of Khongoriin Els sand dunes, also known as the singing dunes!! The dunes stand out amid the vast endless land, they rise to almost 300m high!! They are 12 km wide and 100 km long!!

Riding on a Bactrian camel

Experience the desert soul, riding on a Bactrian camel towards the dunes from your ger camp.

Sunset from a Dune

Climb the highest dune to watch the sunset, it looks easy, but when you start the ascent, you realize it's a challenge!! But so worth it!! On your way back, you can slide down the dunes !! What fun! Gaze the night sky, twinkling with millions of stars, be hypnotized by the milky way, and wish upon a shooting star for yet another travel dream.

Drive to the Bayanzag or the Flaming Cliffs

Your Mongolia tour package will also take you on a drive to the Bayanzag or the Flaming Cliffs, they derive their name from the color they get when the sun rises and sets. They are actually FOSSIL beds for dinosaur remains!! The first discovery of dinosaur fossils was made here.

Drive to Baga Gazriin Chuluu

Drive to Baga Gazriin Chuluu ruins, a granite canyon in the heart of a steppe. The erosion of the surface polished the cliffs and they look spectacular.

Visit the site of the ruins of an old temple dating from the 17th century.

There is a deep narrow hole around the entrance, where the legend says that the stagnating rainwater could treat ocular illnesses. To help people wash their eyes with the sacred water a little ladle has been put on the rock. A splash here is a must.
